1. Overview
June to November, LLC, a Nevada limited liability company operating as "J2N" from Los Angeles, California ("J2N", "we", "us", or "our"), provides a free and paid music distribution service. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through junetonovember.com, upload.junetonovember.com, and the J2N dashboard (together, the "Service"), how we use and share it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here; if you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Information We Collect
Information you give us directly
- Account information: your email address, artist/display name, and password (stored in hashed form).
- Release content: the audio files, artwork, and metadata (track titles, credits, release dates) you upload for distribution.
- Payment information (Pro accounts): when you upgrade to Pro, your card details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor. J2N does not receive or store your full card number.
- Contract information (Pro accounts): your name and email as they appear on the J2N Pro Tier Distribution Agreement, which is sent and countersigned through our e-signature provider.
- Support requests: anything you submit through our contact form or by email, including the category of your request (e.g. upload issue, takedown request) and any details you provide.
Information collected automatically
- Basic device and usage data, such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used for analytics and to keep the Service secure;
- Bot-detection signals collected by our security provider when you sign up, to prevent fraudulent account creation.
Information from third parties
- Payment status and renewal events from our payment processor;
- Signature and agreement status from our e-signature provider;
- Distribution and release status from our distribution partner.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account, and enforce the Free-tier release limit;
- Process Pro payments, renewals, and dunning (failed-payment recovery);
- Prepare and track your Pro distribution agreement;
- Package and deliver your releases to our distribution partner and, through them, to digital service providers;
- Send account, transactional, and lifecycle emails (welcome messages, release confirmations, upgrade offers, renewal reminders) from success@junetonovember.com;
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and copyright infringement; and
- Respond to support requests and legal inquiries.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to run the Service, with service providers acting under our instructions and only for the categories of purpose below. J2N selects and may change these providers at any time without amending this Policy; a current list of active sub-processors is available on request at success@junetonovember.com.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights or safety of J2N or others, to investigate a copyright or Terms of Service violation, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets involving J2N or its affiliates.
5. Cookies & Similar Technologies
We use a limited number of cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand basic usage of the Service (the "Basic analytics" referenced on our pricing page). We do not use cookies for third-party ad targeting. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the Service may not function correctly if you disable them.
6. Data Retention
We retain account and release information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with tax, accounting, and legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce these policies and our Terms of Service. Uploaded audio and artwork are retained in storage so that your releases can continue to be delivered and re-delivered as needed, unless you request deletion as described below.
7. Data Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted storage and access controls, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account password confidential and for notifying us promptly at success@junetonovember.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
8. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain uses of it. To exercise these rights, email success@junetonovember.com. We may ask you to verify your identity before acting on a request, and some information may be retained where required by law or necessary to complete a distribution already in progress. You can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link included in those emails; you will continue to receive transactional emails related to your account and releases.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 without verified parental consent. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
10. International Users
The Service is operated from the United States and hosted on U.S.-based infrastructure. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, which may not have the same data protection laws as your home jurisdiction. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. If we make a material change, we will notify you via the email on your account or a notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after a revision takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
